Tiara is a native of New York City and reluctant resident of the Mid-Atlantic. She is a writer in her heart but a lawyer by profession. She is a wife and mother to two boys. She is a self proclaimed and self loving oddball. She is determined to find both spirituality and happiness and like any true totalitarian matriarch, impose both on her family. She is wise enough to know that this may not happen simultaneously.
This is a blog about nothing and everything. Tiara was a city girl who had navigated her way through college and studies abroad when her decision to go to law school also led to her meeting her future husband. Everything with her husband happened organically - they are best friends who figured out they also like to kiss. They were married their last year of law school and a year and half later they realized they also liked making cute babies when they welcomed their son, Isaiah into the world. Shortly after Isaiah was born, reality hit them hard when they almost lost him. Luckily, they made it through and he is a happy and healthy. Since then, they have been navigating their way up and down the east coast with their growing family trying to find a place to call home.
Sometimes this blog is light - her husband is weird, her sons are crazy... but sometimes it can get tough. In the fall of 2009, Tiara lost her big brother unexpectedly. Yet again, this blog has seen her through a defining chapter in her life and it sometimes documents her journey through grief.
